About This File

This is a BETA mod for the Project Rally WW3 Expansion, it adds one of the Factions i have planned for this expansion: WW3 Germany

Faction name: GER WW3

BP Faction name (For server owners): BP_HDFactionInfo_WW3_Germany

This mods add:

The usual project rally Recoil system

New weapons like the MG3, G36 (Acog ,Red dot and Eotech) and the Glock P9

New character models

New weapons will be added in the future too (Like the G82)

 

NEW: What's in the Revamp update:

New Classes:

The Scout (Qcout in game), 2 per team

This class is equipped Red Dot variant of the G36C, some grenades, A set of M22 Binoculars and the Ranger ammo box

 

The Ammo Carrier (Munitionsträger in game), 2 per team

This class his equipped with the Standard Issue G36C Eotech, has the usual set of grenades and a Large ammo box

 

The Medic (Sanitäter in game), 3 per team

This class has received some changes, they are now equipped with a Medical box

 

The Deployables:

All boxes have a 2 minute lifetime

The Large and Ranger ammo box both gives ammo to players near them (Large ammo box gives ammo faster)

The Medical box heals player near it

 

New recoil system:

The project rally recoil system has now been changed and improved, all weapons will now be more controllable while having different camera shake

The camera shake is divided in 3 categories: Light (Pistol and 9mm smg),  Medium (Rifle caliber weapons, including snipers) and Heavy (MG's and AT Weapons) 

 

But for now the mod enjoy !

You have amazing ideas for factions! Is there a way we can get them without this project rally recoil thing? This recoil is madness and not fun at all. The factions you've come up with but using the base game recoil would be awesome!

Cool mod but the recoil completely kills the entire mood instantly. Guns don't do that in real life. If you keep the faction but get rid of the recoil then the mod would be very much a good time.  I just can't give this any more than a one star right now because the recoil completely ruins it. Maybe see if MrPonchovie will let you use his recoil changes. The changes he made are outstanding and would complement your faction very nice way!

This could be a great mod but the recoil is holding it back. I’m not sure how this current recoil got determined as realistic but this isn’t a great representation of realistic recoil. Guns don’t fly all over the place when you know how to shoot. The best way to make this mod amazing would be to just remove this modified recoil and keep the recoil from the base game. The base game actually simulates recoil very well. I’m not sure why people keep thinking this make the gun fly off the screen recoil stuff is realistic. It’s not even close. Recoil in real life is not this hard to manage.

The faction as a whole is really cool concept as far as the equipment, uniforms and weapons! The recoil is feels very funky even in semi and there are fireworks coming out of the barrel of the guns now. I think if the fireworks and the recoil get fixed, this could be a really incredible faction mod! Or if the recoil and fireworks can't be fixed, releasing a version of the mod pre recoil and fireworks could be awesome! That way we could keep the normal recoil and particle effects from the base game. Great work with the kits of the soldiers though! Super excited to see where this mod goes once those issues are fixed! Will update review to a 5 star once these issues are fixed, however at the moment this is the only mod I keep uninstalling given the bugs with recoil and the firework particles.

Hello, thanks for the review but i have to say that the recoil will not be changed at all since it is very manageable and is part of the project this mod is in, basically making the game more "Hardcore" and realistic

Also the "Firework effect isn't actually the gun firing effect, it's a bug where the bullet hits the gun when firing and is being fixed

I appreciate this. I gave this a two-star review because of how your guns work. It sparks on the left side of the gun and when it sparks, the bullets don't hit the targets. THE RECOIL IS ATROCIOUS. I hope you could fix this. Please be not offended.

The guns work as intended, they are supposed to have higher recoil because that's part of the project this faction is from, so no i will "fix" the mod since it is working as intended, the recoil is fine you just have to use semi-auto

Bro, you have zero photography knowhow.....cool mod, bad showcase but who cares😂, and ain't using the machine gunner until the bipod comes in😉

Weapon sounds are awsome and I like the scopes too.

I do think Weapon spread or sway during shooting with machine gun (both prone and on the knee) is quite agressive. It would be nice to have less sway during shooting when proned because of ground floor stability.

But again, very nicely done!

About the weapon recoil when prone, it's already something that i am making and is in development so it should come out soon

There wont be anymore update published to the mod until the final version of the modpack release this mod is part of release (it will also contain modern Russia, modern US and modern Canada)

got a question,  will we see the G36 with the original Hensoldt dual optics (the 3x scope and the 1.5 red dot,  with the E variant having the 3x scope but with iron sights), the G3, along with the HK P8 (a USP variant)
